A Day in the Chief's Life

"You see dad, we thought the water would soften the landing. We just forgot to factor speed into it... honest mistake..."

What's going on?
Hiccup has a headache.
Garik is doing his creative-diplomatic thing.
Roan regrets nothing.
Astrid's about to knock some heads.
Lund that forgotten child may be fake-crying at this point.

Leave it to his sons to help Hiccup forget the everyday woes of Viking politics.

I am so happy with how this came out. There's a few annoying things I notice now that will tick me off, but over all I think this turned out great. No one is wearing any armor or weapons because this is just everyday downtime for them.

Except for some of those hands. So many hands.

So what do we think about Chief-Hiccup? Aging people isn't really my thing, but I think he looks pretty realistic . Astrid I had a bit of a tougher time with but I consider her a success as well. They're around their mid-forties (keep in mind, medieval aging) and the boys are around twenty. The Accident Lund is around eleven or so.
