The gal in the middle somehow reminds me of Gudrid, who, if your other comments are anything to go by, she is not.
Can't say about the other gentlemen, except to say that they do look quite exceedingly Roman.
Not sure how you'd pull this one off, historically -- the research I've been spurred to by Hitchups has told me that the Romans were kinda over and done with a few centuries before the Vikings cropped up. Should be interesting to see, should you feel the itch to fic.
I'm really, really glad the other guys look Roman though. Especially the old guy - I rarely draw old guys but this one happened to turn out looking appropriately old.
The Vikings and Romans overlapped only very slightly. The Roman Empire was already dying down when the Vikings were busting down doors. In the HTTYD books there are Romans - Hiccup is captured in one of them. For this story, though it wasn't mentioned in the synopsis, Rome is already suffering financial problems and many Old Names are falling to ruin. The Vikings are like that final foot stomping them out.
